Google: Google’s PR update
It is almost ending of this year, but we are still waiting for PR update. I have seen many people claiming they do not give a damn about google and google’s algorithm of site ranking. Still everyone knows the value of good PR. If any website is doing great without considering help from google/google algorithm, it can still do better if it has good PR and authority.
Anyways, first and last question of this post again comes to the update of PR. I have seen on few forums that many guys are reporting the changes in indexed pages and some PR toolbar counting is dancing for them. I am not quite sure about the PR change but yes indexed pages are changing. Pay attention, there is something going inside the Big G. I do not know if this is rumour but according to one news source, the PR update is mostly expected during 2-3 week of January.
This time around Google has took more time and more gap for these updates. Earlier the expected date for the update was near XMAS, but with that over, eyes are on next enumerated date. Good luck to all.
Orkut for S60, now with photo uploads
Orkut was overwhelmed by its adoption in April when the mobile(xhtml) version of orkut was launched as m.orkut.com.
As everyone of us knows google tries building up its products for the diverse user groups not for specific users therefore many people can now access orkut from their smartphones, PDA’s and many of which can support more advanced functionalities. So finally they have launched a new mobile orkut experience which is optimized especially for Symbian Series 60(3rd edition) cellphones.
The new face of orkut works on almost all popular phones including Nokia’s N series (N95, N92, etc.) and Samsung’s SGH model’s. Now photos can even be uploaded from the orkut mobile you don’t need a PC or a laptop anymore to upload your photos to orkut. The best part of all being that everything is available without any special client download but you just need to have a Symbian Series 60(3rd edition) phone.

Inside Adsense: Seeing clicks but no revenue?
Have you ever gone through a situation when you had clicks reported in you AdSense but no revenue? Well on AdSense blog there is nice article about this condition. According to this article which is up there on AdSense blog, It may be due to 2 factors, either because the site on which the code is placed isn’t listed or may be due to invalid clicks.
Allowed Sites setup: This is the sites list where you can display your ads. If you are a user of this feature you need to confirm where you would like to display your ads code.
To verify if the problem is occurring due to this you just need to log into your account and visit the page named “Allowed Sites” given under AdSense Setup Tab. If the option “Only allow certain sites to show ads for my account” is shown up as populated then you dont’ need to worry as you are not affected by it and you need to move on to next.
But if “Only allow certain sites to show ads for my account” is shown up as populated, you need to review the sites listed in the box just below it and need to verify if all your sites are listed in the box
Invalid clicks: It might be possible that you had some clicks which were considered to be invalid by their monitoring system. Though, as the advertisers are not charged for such clicks and impressions, even these clicks don’t show up in your earnings through AdSense.

DP has one user online
Hi friends, sorry for low activity on the blog as I am unable to update it frequently but will be back as soon as I will get free from my exams. Anyways one thing I want to share is that, today I have come across very interesting case. Yes, as title suggests, it is related to DP forum. As you all know digital point forum is always running and I never saw it with less than 500 users. However today when I visited same forum, I was the only active person over there.

Ymail and Rocketmail is cool - Yahoo mail
Couple of weeks ago Yahoo has launched new mailing domain on its server. All the features will be same but only the extension of the mailing address with be different from yahoo.com.
So what is cool about it? Well name itself. After gmail here comes Ymail.com and its brother rocketmail.com. I am using yahoomail for past 10-12 years and I like it more than gmail (The builtin chat option in gmail is better than that of yahoomail. Huh). However I was not able to get email ID of my first name with yahoomail as it was and it is unavailabe. However with ymail and rocketmail, I have got what I have wanted.
Now I am using my supercool and supershort email IDs nowdays. One can register ymail/rocketmail IDs from yahoo email registeration page by choosing domains from the dropdown list.
